IIIF Kasane
A viewer that reads IIIF Manifests and layers 3D models, images, audio, video and their annotations in a single view. It started as a 3D viewer and now handles IIIF resources in general (formerly IIIF 3D Viewer).

- Published a video introducing the compare page (comparing two models side by side, with a swipe, or through a spyglass; sharing by URL; the collapsible side panel)
- Comparing two models: a compare page (side by side, swipe, spyglass), switching between models placed in the same scene, a view toolbar (rotate, fit, top view, manifest cameras), and a collapsible side panel
- Pictures and initial viewpoints: pictures attached to annotations, opening at the viewpoint given in the manifest, fitting the map to all pins with a "Show all" button in the map-linked viewer, and the same annotation cards on every page

Main Features
3D Models
Rotate and zoom GLB models and point clouds with mouse or touch. Supports the initial view set in the manifest and switching between models placed at the same position.
Images
Deep zoom into IIIF Image API images. Rotated images and Canvases composed from multiple images are displayed as well.
Audio and Video
Play audio and video with captions and a time-aligned transcript alongside. Canvases that combine multiple media can also be played.
Annotations
Annotations on points of 3D models, regions of images and times in audio or video are layered over the resource. Annotations on the same region are grouped, with tags, search and filtering.
Comparison and Maps
Compare two models side by side, or overlaid with swipe and spyglass. Resources with location data are shown together with a map.
Structure, Sharing and Embedding
Supports tables of contents, paging, two-page spreads and Collections. Share the open resource and position by URL, and embed the viewer in other sites with the iiif-viewer custom element.

Converted to the 4.0 form on load.

Used for deep zoom, rotation and thumbnails.

The iiif-content parameter selects the resource, Canvas and region to open.
- IIIF Georeference Extension
Used by the map viewer. The format, defined for 2D images, is extended to 3D coordinates.
- Shared Region and Keyed Tag Extension (own extension, draft)
Groups annotations that target the same region, and shows the label of a tag as its key.
