Showing a degraded version before consent (IIIF Auth 2.0)
Kasane now supports the IIIF Auth 2.0 pattern that shows a substitute (such as a small grayscale version) before consent or login. It shows the substitute with the prompt, then switches to the full-resolution image once access is granted. An example using Hyakki yagyō emaki from the National Diet Library is in the use cases.
